The PWB-450 project wall box is the newest addition to the FSR line of wall boxes. The PWB-FR-450 and PWB-450 wall box's bracketry have also been designed so you can remove one or all of the internal brackets to best layout the box to match your needs. With it's larger format this box can accommodate Crestron's DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C 4K receiver/room controller. The PWB-FR-450 is the latest addition to our fire resistant infrastructure product line. The PWB-FR-450 is a fire resistant wall box for use in applications where a 1 hour fire rating may be required. The PWB-FR-450 joins the FRK Fire Resistant Floor Box system in providing multiple mounting solutions. The PWB-FR-450 is a larger format wall box and has been designed for applications where you need to mount larger interfaces or equipment behind a display or in other custom applications. The PWB-FR-450's back box is typically installed between either wood or steel studs; which will leave proper spacing behind the wall's surface and will allow the door to mount flush with the wall's surface. Integrated within the door and its mounting frame is the proper fire resistive material to provide 1 hour of fire protection. Each internal compartment has a 3/4" knockout and concentric KO that goes up to 1 1/2" in the top and bottom of the box for cable/conduit entry. There is a two part vented cover, available in black or white, that provides convection cooling for the internal components. A slot on the cover facilitates passing cables through for external devices such as projectors and flat panel displays and is designed to relief the strain on cables as they exit. The standard PWB-450 is the largest of our PWB Series Wall Boxes. Two mounting brackets are available for mounting the Crestron DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C receiver/room controller or other digital media interfaces and devices.
